Banquet 2011
The banquet will be at
the PNW Truck Museum at Antique Powerland (Brooks, OR) on Saturday
Nov. 5th from 5:30-8pm. Trolley Operation will run from 12pm-5pm.
The menu will be:
- Steaks BBQ’ed
on-site, Potatoes, Salad
- Assortment of ice
cold beverages and wine will be available
- Coffee will be made
available courtesy of the Truck Museum
During dinner, will be
the return of the Annual Traction Quiz.
After dinner we will
have elections & some short museum reports. Service awards will be
handed out to the top volunteers for our organization. Then it is to
the main event with Traction of Washington & Idaho by OERHS member:
Mark Kavanagh. This presentation will highlight traction operations
both past and present in the 2 states including some surprises.
The cost is a
very reasonable $15/person. This includes a great dinner, rental of
the truck museum and a fun evening. Non-OERHS members are invited.
